Designer: IKEA of Sweden

Ceiling / wall light with perspex shade, 1987. From the 5 piece STOJA series, the designs are often wrongly attributed to Ettore Sottsass, founder of the Italian Memphis Group. Whilst STOJA were instead in-house IKEA designs, their playful forms and red, yellow, blue colour pallettes clearly took inspiration from the post modern designs the Memphis Group were producing at the time. In full working order, requires wiring directly into wall or ceiling.
